CLASP at LARS

Yesterday, Chris and Amy Estes, the Endless Analog creators, originators, developers, and designers demoed their CLASP unit at the Los Angeles Recording School in Hollywood, California. Left to right – Bryan Zee, Amy Estes, Chris Estes and Ray from the band.The Closed Loop Analog Signal Processor allows sessions to be recorded and overdubbed, “old school”, using tape, while the actual session is being controlled and recorded in ProTools. I have been waiting for this for a long time, and was a bit skeptical, but it convinced me. It was seamless and had the extra bonus of tracking different speeds at a whim.
